Team Baker consists of seven Loan Originators supported by 5 operations staff. Since the origination of Team Baker in the spring of 2016, the team has grown to be ranked in the 10% of the over 100+ branches at CrossCountry Mortgage Leading the team is Douglas Baker, SVP of Strategic Business Development. Doug is a licensed attorney and a licensed loan originator with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He is supported by Ellen Kaim, Lending Team Manager. In this role, Ellen coordinates the operations team consisting of Sr. Processors Mark Zona and Richard Smith. Additionally Ellen is our liason between the origination and operations teams and coordinates with the underwriters. She maintains a Loan Originator license as well.
